Ethyl Acetate · CAS 141-78-6
99.9% min assay, 0.05% max water and Pt-Co 10 max — industrial-grade ethyl acetate held to verifiable specifications and shipped worldwide by Ascent Group Co., Ltd.

QC · GC + KF per batch
Company
Ascent Group Co., Ltd supplies Jubilant Ethyl Acetate into coatings, printing inks, adhesives, pharmaceutical extraction and industrial cleaning lines, with each shipment held to the specification agreed for that order.
Esterification and multi-stage distillation run on fixed temperature, reflux and draw-off setpoints, so every lot leaves the column inside the same assay window.
Each lot is sampled and tested for assay by GC, water by Karl Fischer, acidity by titration and colour by Pt-Co, and those results travel with the goods.
Dangerous goods papers, packing records and loading confirmation are prepared before the container is sealed, so your broker receives a complete document set.
Product Overview
Both grades come off the same esterification and distillation train. The difference is the cut point, the drying step and the limits written into the batch certificate.

Technical Data
Values we test every lot against, together with the reference data used when designing storage, transfer and reaction steps.
Applications
Six process areas where Jubilant Ethyl Acetate is specified for its evaporation rate and solvent power.
Coatings & Paints
A fast-evaporating solvent for nitrocellulose, acrylic and polyurethane coatings where flow and finish decide the result.
Printing Inks
Sets viscosity and drying speed in flexographic and gravure inks for film, foil and paper.
Adhesives & Laminating
Keeps adhesive solutions workable and leaves the laminate clean as the solvent evaporates.
Pharmaceutical Extraction
The low-water grade serves as an extraction and processing solvent where residue limits are tight.
Industrial Cleaning
Cuts grease, resin and ink residues from tools, tanks and metal parts before assembly.
Flavour & Fragrance
Carries flavour and fragrance concentrates and dilutes essential oils for blending.
Why Ascent Group
A second order is decided by the second lot, so the controls that matter are the ones that repeat.
Every lot is tested for assay, water, acidity and colour, and ships with a batch certificate of analysis.
Water stays at or below 0.05% and acidity at or below 0.004%, so sensitive reactions stay predictable.
Pt-Co 10 max keeps clear systems clear, which matters for pale coatings and ink varnishes.
Drums, IBC totes and ISO tanks, with dangerous goods documents and loading records for each container.
Packaging
Packaging is fixed on the quotation, together with the loading count for the container we book.
Drums and totes are sealed and labelled to dangerous goods rules, a batch certificate of analysis travels with every shipment, and container loading is checked and photographed before departure.
Plan Your ShipmentInsights
Three questions buyers raise before the second order is placed.
Industrial grade covers general solvent duty. High purity grade is chosen where water and non-volatile residue have to stay low, so match the grade to the process rather than to the price list.
Ethyl acetate picks up water from humid air and from wet equipment. Keep drums closed, dry transfer lines before use, and verify water by Karl Fischer rather than assuming the drum is still in specification.
Store cool, dry and ventilated, keep containers sealed and away from ignition sources and strong oxidisers. A sealed original drum typically holds specification for 24 months.
FAQ
Two: 99.5% min assay industrial grade and 99.9% min assay high purity grade. Lot-specific specifications can be discussed before the order is confirmed.
A batch certificate of analysis covering assay, water, acidity, colour, ethanol and evaporation residue. A safety data sheet is available for your compliance file.
180 kg steel drums, 200 L drums, 1000 kg IBC totes, ISO tanks and bulk road tankers. Drum counts per container are confirmed with the quotation.
Cool, dry and ventilated, with containers kept sealed and away from ignition sources and strong oxidisers. Under these conditions a sealed original drum typically holds specification for 24 months.
